Dear Reader,

This has been a whirlwind of just over 100 days. First, President Joe Biden was campaigning against Donald Trump, with a farely poor showing in the polls. Then, after his somewhat fiasco of memory loss and confusion in the presidential debate, he  was forced to step down from the race, upon which time Vice President Kamala Harris entered the race.

Unbelievably, Donald Trump prevailed after his unprecedented criminal prosecutions, indictments, and poor conduct, and after Harris’s spectacular campaign.

In her concession speech, Harris urged her supporters to continue the fight, since, although she was conceding the race, she was not conceding the fuel that had infused it from the beginning, i.e., reproductive freedom, gun legislation, the economy, climate change, and voting rights.

This issue contains Harris’s full speech on the elipse to American voters,  and her concession speech on the campus of Howard University, where I spent many years and where she obtained her undergraduate degree.

I hope both speeches are inspirational to my readers.
Sincerely,
